Ride Requests: Information about requests made by users for transportation services, including timestamps, pickup locations, and destination details. This helps us manage ride requests efficiently and ensure timely service provision.
Drivers: Roam Taxi collects location data when the Roam Taxi App is running in the foreground (app is open and on-screen) or background (app is not in use) in your mobile device. For Captains, Roam Taxi collects location data only when the Captains have enabled the icon “On-Duty” on the Roam Taxi App.
We collect precise or approximate location data from your Device if you enable us to do so. Roam Taxi collects this data from the time a Service is requested until it is finished, and any time the app is running in the foreground of your Device. We use this data to enhance your use of Roam Taxi App, including to improve pick-up locations, enable safety features, and prevent and detect fraud. Even if you have not enabled us to collect location data from your Device, Roam Taxi collects the Captains’ location data collected during a trip, and links such location data with your account. This enables us to offer services to you, such as receipt generation and customer support, and enable safety of the Customers.
Why We Use Foreground Services Our app requires foreground service permissions to ensure uninterrupted user-initiated functionality, such as:
Live location tracking for navigation or deliveries, Real-time updates on ongoing tasks or processes, Active service notifications to keep the user informed, The foreground service is initiated by the user (e.g., starting navigation or requesting a ride).The user is aware of the service running in the foreground via a persistent notification.
Users have control over stopping the service through app settings.
Users can allow/not allow access to telephone functions on their device. If this function is disabled, this will result in failure of sending requests from the Roam Taxis application.
Users can enable/disable notifications about ride status changes or account actions. Disabling notifications may result in lower quality of user experience with the Roam Taxis application.

Roam Taxis Ltd has a right to make changes to this Confidentiality Agreement. If changes are significant, we will notify you via the Roam Taxis application or in any other available way, for example, by email.
